Authentication Guide

Since spacehey.py is a reverse-engineered library, you need to manually obtain credentials.

1. Mobile Token (for MobileClient)

This token is required for standard API interactions (Bulletins, Blog, Status, Profile Editing).

1. Open your browser and visit: https://auth.spacehey.com/login?client_id=app-android&return=spacehey://callback/

2. Log in to your SpaceHey account.

3. You will see a page saying "If you aren't redirected, please click here." Right Click the link.

4. Copy that URL.

5. Extract the value of access_key.

Example: spacehey://callback/home?access_key=XYZ_123_TOKEN

Token: XYZ_123_TOKEN

2. Web Session (for WebClient)

This is required for changing profile pictures, and editing social links.

1. Log in to SpaceHey.com on your desktop browser.

2. Open Developer Tools (F12).

3. Go to the Application (Chrome) or Storage (Firefox) tab.

4. Expand Cookies and select https://spacehey.com.

5. Find the cookie named SPACEHEY_SESSID.

6. Copy its Value.

Security Warning: Never share your Token or Session ID. They give full access to your account.
